The Beach Villa at Cocoplum is about to get a neighbor! Construction will begin shortly on a two bedroom home immediately south of the popular three bedroom rental unit. Owned by Ken and Elizabeth Allen of California, the single floor design features a large deck and pool as well as private patios off each bedroom. The architecture retains some of the elements already in use by the four homes in the immediate vicinity and gives the area a well integrated appearance. Contractor for the new villa is A. L. Construction based in nearby Maya Beach. According to A. L.’s chief Albert Loewen, the new home will display all the high end finishes for which his company has become well known: cut stone tiles, high impact casement windows, granite counter tops and hardwood trim and cabinetry.
The Allens plan to be in residence for much of the year and are as yet undecided about any plans to put the new home into the existing rental pool. There are three 96’ wide beach lots remaining between the Allen’s property and Cocoplum’s resort site. These lots are earmarked for homes that fit into the existing architectural style and are designed to work well as rental units that will provide the owners with significant recurrent income. For more information on the purchase of these home sites and other homes already built at Cocoplum contact Aaron at firstname.lastname@example.org.
